Responsibilities: The SSI group is mercury's fastest growing business area. We provide our customers with deep domain expertise to help them solve their challenging embedded computing problems. This position in the SSI group would take direction from senior systems and integration engineers in order to help deliver on customer needs or to better enable the group to offer additional value to our customers at a lower cost point in the future. Responsibilities would include: development of test scripts, code and/or jigs. execution of initial tests, contribution to an overall test framework, resolution of customer issues, documentation of test procedures, and other responsibilities, as directed by senior staff. 

Qualifications: Qualifications: HS diploma, enrolled in a BS or MS degree awarding. program. preferably CS, EE, or ECE. General knowledge of Linux OS and scripting in at least one .language (e.g. bash, csh, tsch, tcl, expect, perl, and/or python). Experience in programming in C and/or C++. familiarity with basic office applications. Additional Preferred Qualifications: Programming VBA, Visual Basic, Visual C/C++/C#, Access databases.  Experience with building/customizing linux kernels, bootloaders, and/or the linux device driver model. Development within an ODE (such as eclipse), knowledge of posix threads and BSD sockets. Experience with embedded development evironments a plus. Knowledge of SNMP and MIB structure also helpful. As a project coordinator coop, you will assist project leaders and be mentored by them in developing our advanced technology product offerings. You may even manage small-scale projects of your own.
